A 45 cm fully integrated dishwasher sits completely behind a furniture door that matches your units, with the controls on the top edge of the door. That makes it a good choice for a small or galley kitchen where a full-size machine won't fit and you want an unbroken run of cabinets. Before you buy, measure the housing width and height, check that your door panel and plinth suit a fully integrated fit, and make sure there's a water and drain connection nearby.

Siemens makes this type within its iQ300 series. It's a compact dishwasher with a cutlery tray, a time-left display and an internet connection for keeping an eye on cycles. For more choice, see Siemens 45 cm built-in dishwashers or browse all Siemens products.
