CDA built-in ovens cover both electric single ovens and double ovens. All have drop-down doors and a mix of rotary dials and touch controls. Most come in black, and there are stainless steel versions among both the single and double ovens, so you can match the finish to your other appliances.
Several of the single ovens are eleven-function multifunction models. Gross capacities are 65 or 77 litres, and some models have up to six shelf levels, which leaves room for a large roasting tin or batch baking. The clearest difference is cleaning. With steam cleaning, a little water and heat soften baked-on grime so it wipes away more easily. The pyrolytic model heats the cavity high enough to turn residue to ash and is rated A+ for energy. One model also has steam-assisted cooking, which adds moisture to help keep roasts tender and give bread a better crust.
A double oven pairs a fan-assisted main oven with a smaller second oven, which is handy for side dishes or for cooking at two temperatures. The built-in double fits an eye-level tall housing, with 59 litres in the main oven and 39 in the second, and both are rated A. The built-under double sits beneath the worktop with 50 and 35 litres and can work alongside one of the CDA hobs above it. Both doubles have easy clean enamel interiors.
