Returns & Refunds

Return unused items within 30 days of delivery

Returning an unused item within 30 days

You can return an unused product (i.e. not installed or used) within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging to receive a full refund of the cost of the product.

Simply unpacking the product to have a quick look does not constitute use, but we'd ask that you re-box the item in its original packaging before returning it to us in a "like-new" condition.

Please note that if you'd like us to collect the item to be returned then a collection charge will apply.

Returning an item within 14 days of delivery

If you cancel your order within your 14-day statutory cooling-off period we’ll also refund you any standard delivery charges. Any service charges already completed will not be refunded.

Please note that if you'd like us to collect the item to be returned then a collection charge will apply.

Collection charges

If you'd like us to collect an appliance for return, please note that there will be a collection charge - prices will vary depending on the size of the item.

Collection charges:

  • Items under 85kg = £30.00
  • Items over 85kg = Prices vary depending on exact weight, please call us to discuss

There's no need to pay an extra collection charge upfront, we'll simply deduct this from your refund and send you the remaining balance.

Exchanges

If you’re returning your item for an exchange, we’ll collect your old item when we deliver the new one and there will be no additional collection charge.

Returning used items

If you’ve used or installed the product then we may only be able to offer you a partial refund of up to 50% of the item's cost.

This is because the product will have been devalued and we will no longer be able to sell it to someone else at full value.

Returning faulty items

We're sorry to hear your new appliance is faulty.

Please give us a call and we'll explain the options available to you - note that the outcome will depend on the fault you're experiencing and when the item was delivered.

Any fault will need to be confirmed, so before you contact us, it would be helpful if you'd be able to:

  1. Dig out your RDO sales order number
  2. Make a note of any error codes
  3. Email customersupport@rdo.co.uk a photo of the serial number of your appliance (often located on a label/sticker found inside, or on the door seal of, the appliance)
