An American fridge freezer gives you far more room than a standard model, with wide doors that suit larger households and anyone who shops in bulk. Before buying, measure the space and the route into the kitchen, leave room for the doors to open fully, and check whether the design needs a mains water connection for plumbed ice and water.

Neff makes these as freestanding American fridge freezers in its N 70 series, with frost-free cooling so the freezer never needs defrosting by hand. Look out for VarioZone, which lets you rearrange or remove drawers to fit larger items. For a wider choice, browse Neff Refrigeration or All Neff Products.
