Falcon's cooking range is made up of range cookers. Falcon calls them semi-professional and links them to its background in professional catering. They suit households that cook often and want several ovens, a large hob and a grill in one freestanding unit. Every model has a five-zone hob, with gas or induction on top. Start with the fuel. Dual fuel models pair a gas hob with electric ovens. The hob has cast-iron pan supports and a flame safety device on the burners, and a 5 kW burner for fast boiling and searing. The 900 Deluxe dual fuel adds a multi-ring wok burner. Induction models heat the pan directly, so they respond quickly and are easy to wipe clean. You'll need pans that work on induction, and these models can draw much more power than dual fuel ones, so ask an electrician to check your supply.
Then compare the series. The 900 Deluxe and 1092 Deluxe have a dual circuit glide-out grill that rolls out with four height settings, so it's easy to reach the food. The 900 Single Cavity has one large oven with an Energy Saving Panel (E.S.P), which splits the oven in half. Use the whole space for a big roast, or heat only half for smaller meals. The 1092 Continental has porthole oven doors for a more traditional look. Like the 900 Single Cavity, it uses a Handygrill rather than a glide-out grill. Most models list catalytic liners in the oven, which absorb grease as you cook and cut down on scrubbing.
