Slot in cookers are also known as freestanding cookers and are the ideal way to provide cooking functionality for your kitchen where a cooker needs to be fitted (or slotted) into a specific work space.
They are available in a choice of different sizes and fuel types. If you are looking to replace an existing slot in cooker then the most straight forward way is to replace like-for-like.
Should you be considering a slot in cooker with a different fuel type, then you need to ensure you have the appropriate available gas or electric supply according to the needs of the cooker you are looking at.
Slot in cookers come in a choice of widths and will be one of either 50cm, 55cm or 60cm. If you have more space available then it may worth considering a range cooker. Some fuel types may not offer every size width option.
As well as different widths, there are also three main choices of fuel types available, either dual fuel cookers (an electric oven cooker with a gas hob), electric cookers or gas cookers.
