Most of the choice comes down to design line and cooking modes. ContourLine has a classic stainless steel look. PureLine and VitroLine models come in steel or black glass, and ArtLine models are handleless, so they suit handle-free kitchens. The simpler models offer 10 operating modes, including Auto Roast, Defrosting, Fan Grill and microwave combinations. Others have 12 modes and add automatic programmes. The most complete ArtLine model has 15 modes, adding Conventional Heat and Bottom Heat. It also has a Crisp Function, which helps food brown, and a Food Probe that tracks the core temperature of a roast so you know when it is done.

All the models list Quick & Gentle, Rapid Heat-up and Keeping Warm. Quick & Gentle uses inverter technology so you can adjust microwave power freely, which helps with delicate reheating and defrosting. Rapid Heat-up cuts the wait before oven cooking. Keeping Warm holds food at serving temperature. Some models also have a PerfectClean linen-structure interior that is easier to wipe down.
