A brief overview of Falcon range cookers and cooker hoods

Falcon is known for semi-professional range cookers with roots in professional catering. This page brings together its range cookers and the cooker hoods designed to go above them. It suits households that cook often and want a large hob, generous oven space and a traditional look, available in finishes from stainless steel and black to cherry red, china blue, slate, cream and white, with chrome or nickel trim.

The first choice is fuel. Dual fuel models pair a gas hob with electric ovens. Their five burners include a 5 kW zone for fast boiling, and they have cast-iron pan supports and a flame safety device. Induction models have five zones that heat the pan directly, which gives quick, precise control and a flat surface that is easy to wipe clean. Next comes the oven layout. The 900 Single Cavity cookers have an Energy Saving Panel (E.S.P) that splits the oven in half, so you only heat the space you need for a small meal. The 1092 Continental models have porthole oven doors. The 900 and 1092 Deluxe induction cookers have a dual circuit glide-out grill, while the Single Cavity and Continental cookers use the Handygrill. The ovens we list have catalytic liners, which absorb grease during cooking. Browse all of these in Falcon Cooking.

The Falcon cooker hoods come as canopy hoods, which fit under a cabinet, and chimney hoods, which mount on the wall. Chimney hoods in the Contemporary and Super Extract styles come in 90 cm, 100 cm and 110 cm widths. Canopy hoods are available in 72 cm and 90 cm widths. Every hood has three speeds plus a booster for steam-heavy cooking. Most can either vent outside or recirculate, but one canopy model is for extraction only. Several also have a delayed shut-off that keeps the fan running after cooking to clear lingering smells.

To narrow the choice, decide between gas and induction first. Then pick a split single oven or the Continental styling, and choose a hood at least as wide as your cooker.
