The KD150HXE chimney hood is part of Smeg’s Opera aesthetic Range. The Opera aesthetic is modern in design thanks to its clean and elegant styling, ergonomic lever shaped controls and robust handles, Opera is a truly aspirational Range for serious cooks. Crafted with real attention to detail and using 18/10 Stainless Steel, the Range is robust and built to last. Opera hoods are available in widths ranging from 90cm - 150cm.

Ducting Out
Most Smeg hoods offer the choice of ducting or re-circulating, so you can choose your preferred method. Ducting out extracts cooking fumes and expels them outside, using a vent kit (available as an optional accessory). The diameter of the ducting hose should match the vent outlet of the hood, the diameter of the vent outlet on the KD150HXE is 150mm.

Re-Circulating
Re-circulating extracts the cooking fumes and passes them through active charcoal filters (available as an optional accessory), recirculating the cleaned air back into the room.

Dishwasher Safe
The KD150HXE has grease filters which can be easily removed from the hood and cleaned in the dishwasher, so no manual hand washing is required.

Intensive Extraction
A powerful intensive speed can be selected when quick extraction is needed, whether you’re creating a sizzling stir fry or a preparing an aromatic curry, even the strongest cooking odours will be removed in no time.

LED Lighting
The four LED lights are long lasting, save money and perfectly illuminate the work surface below. They can be switched on regardless of the fans, and used simply to create ambience lighting in the kitchen.
