For a long time people used a vented tumble dryer machine with a flume to draw the warm air out to an external escape. However, this method of drying isn’t very energy efficient due to the large amount of hot air needed for the drying process.
For a more cost effective way to dry your clothes a condenser tumble dryer is now the preferred method for many people. Condenser tumble dryers work by condensing the warm damp air that forms inside the drum, into water which is collected in a drawer.
For even better energy efficiency a heat-pump condenser dryer is the best form of clothes drying available on the market at the moment.
