Appliance Repairs

How to fix your appliance

Within warranty period

All of our appliances are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty.

If your appliance has developed a fault within this warranty period, you'll be able to book a repair visit.

To do so, you'll need to contact the manufacturer and provide them with:

  1. Your RDO sales order invoice (speak to us if you don't have this!)
  2. The serial number of your appliance - often located on a label/sticker found inside, or on the door seal of, the appliance

Outside warranty period

If your appliance is no longer under warranty, we offer an appliance repair service to selected postcodes in the South East.

Before we book a repair, we’ll always try and save you some money by offering a free telephone diagnosis – just in case we can help you resolve the issue over the phone.

If we think we can repair the fault, we’ll book a repair. There is a fixed £78 callout fee (excluding parts) for this non-refundable service.

Once we’ve completed the job, you’ll get a 3 month guarantee on the repair.

If your appliance is found to be beyond repair, we’ll offer you £20 off your next purchase with RDO – just give our Customer Support team a call to claim this discount.

Postcodes available for repairs service

Please note that we do not offer an appliance repair service on: Commercial appliances, American refrigeration, Frost free refrigeration, Induction hobs, Microwaves, Heat pump dryers, Combi ovens, Gas appliances.

If our repair service is not available in your area (or for the appliance you need repairing), we'd recommend looking for a local appliance repair company on Checkatrade.com
