This 60cm chimney hood, which is part of Smeg’s Universal design Range, conceals two aluminium grease filters behind a brushed stainless steel exterior. Use the electronic control buttons to choose from a Range of three fan speeds, which work quickly to clear grease, cooking odours and vapours from the air while you cook. The two efficient LED lights on the KD61XE2 chimney hood helpfully illuminate the pans on your hob.

    Description
    Ducting Out
    Most Smeg hoods offer the choice of ducting or re-circulating, so you can choose your preferred method. Ducting out extracts cooking fumes and expels them outside, using a vent kit (available as an optional accessory). The diameter of the ducting hose should match the vent outlet of the hood, the diameter of the vent outlet on the     KD61XE2 is 150mm.

    Re-Circulating
    Re-circulating extracts the cooking fumes and passes them through active charcoal filters (available as an optional accessory), recirculating the cleaned air back into the room.

    LED Lighting
    The two LED lights on the     KD61XE2 are long lasting, save money and perfectly illuminate the work surface below. They can be switched on regardless of the fans, and used simply to create ambience lighting in the kitchen.
