The Shine&Dry function increases the amount of water during the rinse cycle and extends the drying phase. As a result, undesirable stains are prevented and the resultant drying is improved. The use of Shine&Dry does result in a slightly higher energy consumption. Rinse aid is recommended for this high gloss drying function, even if using a combination detergent.
