Ceramic Hobs

At RDO we have an extensive range of ceramic hobs from quality suppliers such as Neff, AEG, Zanussi, Miele, Bosch, Blomberg, Siemens, Beko, Smeg and Rangemaster.
Ceramic hobs are popular thanks to their versatility, looks and ease of cleaning. There are available in a choice of sizes with the most popular being a 60cm width hob.
Unlike an induction hob you don’t need special pans to use it, but you will get a longer amount of residue heat emanating from the hob once you have finished cooking with it. Most ceramic hobs will have an indicator to warn you that they are still hot.
Some people like a ceramic hob because it has the option of a dial to control the hob’s power, though there are plenty with a touch slider as well. Other considerations include choosing a ceramic hob with a child lock, a timer or an automatic safety cut out feature.
We suggest you check to ensure to have the appropriate power supply available to meet the demands of the ceramic hob in your kitchen. Should you need information on our installation service you can see details here
At our main RDO showrooms in Reigate we have a selection of ceramic hobs from different manufactures on display, while our showroom at Salfords has a selection of mainly ex-display items on show (when available). You can check the current models on display by using the filters on our website or you can call us. Both locations are within easy reach of East or West Sussex, Surrey, Kent and the M25.

Why not pop in and have chat with one of our in-house experts and they can help you to decide which ceramic hob is the best one for you. You can also see our extensive range of other kitchen appliances should you also be considering a matching hood.
