Double Ovens

The use of double ovens is something quite unique to the British marketplace. In fact no other country in Europe uses a double oven, preferring to use a combination of single ovens.
For this reason manufacturers tend not to invest so much of their resources in developing them. This is why at the moment there aren’t many double ovens with the much requested pyrolytic self cleaning.
Double ovens are available in both electric and gas powered formats, with electric being the more preferred option for most and therefore benefitting from the largest range of choices.
An electric double oven will come as either as a built in electric double oven or a built under double oven.
Double ovens will typically be of a very similar size (usually 500m width and 890mm in height) so will fit into the cavity of an existing like for like space. However there are some outside of these sizes so be sure to check.
Using a double oven gives you the benefit of being able to have multiple dishes cooking at the same time all conveniently positioned for easy access.

Our showroom in Reigate features a selection of double ovens for you to view, though these are usually electric. If you are unable to decide which double oven is the best one for you pop in and our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you. 
Our showroom in Salfords will also have a smaller selection on display of mainly ex-display items (when available).
