Built In Not Frost Free Freezers
A built in non frost free freezer will compliment the look of rest of your integrated kitchen as it will normally sit behind a cabinet door. If you are looking for a freezer that doesn’t sit behind a door, then a freestanding freezer may be appropriate for you.
You may also wish to consider a built in frost free freezer to save you the hassle or having to defrost your freezer regularly.
One of the key things to check when purchasing a built in freezer is the type of door fitting that you will need in order to attach the appliance to your integrated kitchen door. You will normally have a choice of either a fixed hinge door (also known as a ‘door on door’) arrangement or a ‘sliding hinged’ door mechanism.
Some of the features to consider when selecting a built in non frost free freezer include protection for your food in the event of a power failure, a quick freeze facility (if you have new shopping you wish to freeze quickly), an ice cube tray, a warning if the door is left open and a reversible door option.
One of the things to also remember with a non frost free freezer is that if you fail to regularly remove the build up of ice, then you will find the freezer has to work harder to maintain its temperature regularity and will therefore become more expensive to operate.
At RDO we have a great selection of built in non frost free freezers for you to consider from suppliers such as Bosch, Miele, Liebherr, Sub-Zero, Blomberg and Neff.
