Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Arranging installations

Installing appliances requires a specialist two-man team, so lead times vary subject to installer availability. Typically, in-stock appliances can be installed within 7 days.

After you place an order, we'll be in contact to arrange a convenient installation date.

Installation timeslots

No installation is the same, so jobs vary from 20-60 minutes. For this reason, we're not able to provide you with an accurate installation timeslot. That said, we will give you a call to let you know we're on the way.

Please ensure that you are available all day on your selected delivery/installation date.

Failed installations

Due to their complexity, we are unable to provide you with an installation timeslot. For this reason, please ensure that you are available all day on your selected delivery/installation date.

Similarly, sometimes we simply may not be able to deliver your appliance(s) on your requested date (for example, due to traffic or extreme weather events). For this reason, we ask that you do not book any tradespeople until your order is in your possession and you have inspected the appliance(s).

If you're not going to be available on your chosen delivery/installation date, please notify RDO by 12pm one working day before your delivery/installation is due. If this is not done, failed delivery or re-delivery charges may apply (detailed in our Terms & Conditions).

Installation FAQs

How much is installation? 🤔

Installation charges vary depending on what & where we're installing. You can confirm installation availability and charges on the product listing page or at the checkout.

Will my appliance need hardwiring?⚡

Appliances with electrical connections over 3kW will be hardwired - you should have a big red switch - requiring either a 1 Amp fuse (e.g. for single/combi/microwave ovens) or a 32 Amp fuse (e.g. for double ovens).

For appliances with electrical connections equal to or less than 3kW, you will need a regular plug socket (standard 13 Amp fuse).

How do I amend my installation date? 📆

If you need to amend your installation date for whatever reason then please call us on 01737 240403 and we'll do all we can to assist.
